Prairie Biome ZooPods | 8oz

ZooPods are naturally grown live copepods, ideal for fish species such as Mandarin Dragonets. The pod species we sell are very hardy and can tolerate any changes in salinity and pH when being added to your aquarium. Seeding your aquarium with multiple bottles will help a sustainable colony establish faster but is not absolutely necessary for success.

Directions
When you receive your pods, immediately remove the adhesive vent cover on the lid of your jar to allow for oxygen exchange. ZooPods will be active at room temperature. Inactivity is normal when pods are cold-shipped or stored. When adding to your tank, float the jar to temperature acclimate and then open the lid and release. It is usually best to release them after lights out with the flow shut off, or in a refugium to give them a chance to settle out of the water column and find a place to hide so that they can avoid predation.

ZooPods should typically be used within several days of purchase.
