Duncans, also known daisy corals or whisker corals, can be a beautiful addition to a tank. They are very easy to keep and great corals for beginners. Duncans have fleshy heads and are usually open. Duncans are considered peaceful and will do well with other non-aggressive corals.
Although Duncans possess tentacles, they do not have a potent sting like other coral species and therefore cannot sting other corals that stray to their side of the tank. For this reason, it's generally advised to avoid placing them in tanks with corals that possess sweeper tentacles.
